My name is Lidiya, I am originally from Bulgaria. My career in the beauty Industry started back in 2006, when I came to live permanently in the United Kingdom. I started with nails (VTCT 3) and after a while doing the same sort of job over and over again, I had a very hard learnt lesson ( a health issue showed me that I need a variety of treatments, so I can move more; plus that way I can stand out on job interviews). I went back to college for full NVQ 2 and 3 in beauty, although I had been twice to Uni previously. I just wanted to expand in this industry, no matter that I am lowering my education in others eyes. I had my child in the meantime, but I didn't give up on my passion for Beauty. When I graduated, I worked in a few salons, rented nail spaces in salons and rooms and also worked for an Agency, so I would say I experienced this industry from every possible angle. 

Ever since I fell in love with the job and so far I have achieved over 40 Certificates and I have become a Beauty Assessor too. But not always finding it fair paid or easy to fit around my family, friends and look after my child. For me this become a priority, as a single parent and I need it to make this work or to give up on my absolute pleasure and passion and what I have done and learned for so many years.

In 2016 I created my own "Mobile Beauty by Lidiya" company and this is my main business ever since. 

I learned a lot while I was building this not as easy as it looks business, but I am thankful for every single part of the growth process. Now, looking back on 8 and a half years of business and personal journey it all makes perfect sense. But before that we had Covid...
